I have had the pleasure of joining Patrick Daly on his Interlinks podcast, where we explored themes from my book, 'The Saboteur at Work' and uncovered how the unconscious mind shapes our behaviour and decisions—sometimes in self-sabotaging ways.

Here's what we covered:

👉 The Influence of the Unconscious: Most of our mind operates below the surface, processing millions of bits of information every second. This hidden part of our mind can guide our actions without us even realising it.

👉 Self-Sabotage in Everyday Life: We talked about how intelligent, capable individuals sometimes make choices that undercut their own goals, and why it’s essential to understand these patterns.

👉 Using Emotions as Insight: Emotions aren’t just noise; they’re valuable signals from the unconscious. Learning to read these signals can help us make better, more informed decisions.

It was a fascinating conversation about the psychology of behavior, and why understanding the unconscious mind can be key to effective leadership and personal growth.

🎧 Listen in if you’re interested in learning more about the unconscious forces at work in our lives.
