Frustrated at work? It might be more than just a bad day.

Frustration can feel like a sign that something’s not right. It’s easy to dismiss it as stress or a temporary setback, but what if it’s more meaningful?

👉 Carl Jung believed that frustration could be your mind’s way of signalling that an old pattern isn’t working anymore. That discomfort? It might just be an invitation to change.

Here’s how to make frustration work for you, not against you...

✅ Reflect – Pause and dig deeper. What exactly is causing the tension? Is it a task, a relationship, or perhaps an unspoken expectation?

✅ Reframe – Instead of seeing frustration as a roadblock, view it as an opportunity to understand yourself better. This is a chance to realign with your values and goals.

✅ Act – Start small. Identify one thing that isn’t serving you and take a mindful step to shift it. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but progress begins with a single action.

Frustration isn’t your enemy; it’s a signal. As Jung said, it’s your psyche’s way of pushing you to grow.

So, next time you feel that pang of frustration, don’t push it away.

Listen. Adapt. And let it guide you forward.

Feeling frustrated but can’t put your finger on why? Coaching can help you to find clarity.
